# Medaris > Medaris is on-premises AI operations software for turnkey hospital programmes. It gives integrators and ministries a local operational layer for handover, maintenance evidence, stock, cashiering and audit. It is not an EMR and not a medical device. Medaris is designed for EPC integrators delivering turnkey hospitals, Ministries of Health receiving those hospitals, and financing partners reviewing maintenance evidence. The commercial model can be structured as a per-site licence inside the turnkey hospital programme. ## Why Medaris exists Turnkey hospital programmes deliver buildings, equipment and maintenance contracts. The operational software and local AI assistance needed for handover, maintenance and reporting are often left to local paper logs and spreadsheets. Medaris is designed to close that handover gap without making the hospital dependent on a cloud service. ## What Medaris Covers - **Registering patients** - lightweight intake with ID and payer (cash, national insurance, private). QR patient card. - **Finding a bed** - real-time bed map per ward. Average length of stay, occupancy, turnover. Admit, transfer, discharge. - **Managing outpatient flow** - walk-in queue, display board, and simple appointments for the paper-to-screen transition. - **Tracking biomedical equipment** - every device tagged at acceptance, work orders logged in the field, parts and downtime captured at the source, vendor SLAs tracked. - **Drug and consumables stock** - reorder thresholds, expiry tracking, dispensing log linked to patient. - **Cashier and payments** - tariff catalog, invoices, payment recording, daily closeout, and mixed-payer tracking. - **Maintenance reporting** - templates aligned with maintenance-reporting formats used by BPI France Assurance Export, UKEF and EIFO. Field records can be assembled into a branded PDF pack for review. - **Audit, access and brand** - full action log of who did what and when. Role-based access. Site-level brand configuration. ## Maintenance Reporting Medaris links equipment acceptance, work orders, downtime, parts and report evidence so integrators and ministries can review the same operational record. Branded PDF packs can include ministry, integrator and financing-partner identity where contractually required. ## On-prem AI Medaris can use small local models on the hospital's own server. AI features are operational, not clinical: report narrative drafting, maintenance-risk review, stock and expiry forecasting, natural-language search over operational records, OCR for equipment documents, and voice-to-text for work orders. The product does not provide diagnosis, triage, imaging interpretation or clinical decision support. ## Deployment and Sovereignty - On-premises deployment by default. - Core workflows can run without routine outbound connectivity. - Local backup options and documented recovery procedures. - Ministry colours, crest and French or English language configuration. - Equipment-list import from OEM CSV during handover. - Train-the-trainer handover for hospital IT staff. - Independent source-code escrow can be included in contract terms. - RGPD-aligned. OHADA-compatible. - French-law contracting path available. ## Language The site is published in English.
